Put the pk3 in your nexuiz/data folder.

Now u can access it via menu: create/DM, TDM, Arena or something like this

Or open console and type "map mapname" and it should load

Some little issues are fixed, but the problem of missing textures is still a big one.


One of the nexuiz-ninjaz is helping me now.

making another one, no surprise this time Razz Wink heres screen taken in netradiant, what U think?
loadsa jumppads (not done yet), few teleports (not done yet), few pups (done Very Happy ), ammo, trees (well something like trees), few hidden places but no secret doors, open space area.textures probably will change after consultation with Lady ^^.

Marc, lolers dont get me wrong m8 Razz, but :
I figured the map I showed is shit.I would change its textures anyway but I decided to give it up.I mean yesterday evening I thought about making space map instead of this one, heh and the pic U posted is Shocked LOOOOL Shocked very similar to what came to my mind!!!!! hehe, unmoglich ^^]
I start doing it in a moment, have to change a bit my idea so we wont make almost the same thing Very Happy
now tell me we r not family What a Face thinking about same things lol! Cool

It's hard to get a feel from Radiant screens, see how it looks in Nex & you'll get a better idea on textures. Wink

Maybe u should set textures to "axial" to get finer brushes?

Specially the texture on the pillars look too huge


Something else: Try not to put the deathtriggers too close to the lvl...hard to see it on your pics, but for me it looks like they are very close to the brushes

the textures are already axial ^^] yeah I should check it in Nexuiz, but I cant fire it up now. any volunteers to see how it looks?

double post sorry.
Ive done it, but somehow jumppads dont work :S Ive done them exactly the same way as previously but instead of jump I move slow as hell on them on 2.3 and on 2.4.2 I bounce like when U hook to jumppad and stand on it but lower than normally.
wtf?
any ideas m8s?

i took a look into your new map and first impression was: It's nice, but could be better Razz

Your map has no image. Maybe u should add a jpg to the folder?

I can't tell u about the gameplay, but i think some rooms/doors are too small, and specially the ceiling at the upper megahealth seem to be dominant.

Here some things that i recongnized during play:

Textures aren't alligned properly...there are some ugly party in your map.(in total i like the optic of brushed setll Smile)

Same goes for the heaven + the death trigger is too close above the lvl.
Even with laser-jumping i could cause death to me



Now a big failure, sry:

This jumppad and its twin on the other siede, are pushing u into death when u make a step on it. Only hook could save your live Razz



Here again textures...they are running all over.
Btw. this is the position i mentioned above. With a mega next to u on a higher position u can own the whole lvl, specially with that many jumppads Wink




If u fix those things, I bet it will be a funny map Smile

The ceiling is too close, I killed myself with a laser-jump. What a Face

I'd suggest making the skybox more like evilspace/soylent & reducing the lighting a bit, make it more si-fi. Wink
