So my first map is done.

It's a small-medium map, with some graphical gimmicks like glass and nice water....I even build a huge glass-onion staying in water Suspect

Tell me what u think about the map.
Please be true, u can play it with bots, but they won't move...no waypints on that map. We my use it on the prophets-server for a day? Just to see how it works, would u?

called it number 3, cause it's the 3rd map I did, including 2 testmaps Razz

Now i will go on with learning advanced stuff...

And please give me feedback, even if it's destroying :=)

Little update in my mapping-progress...learned to do curves and created some grid-pipes

Do you already know how to set waypoints for bots in custom maps? I don't find anything bout it Sad

I failed. I created a box. everytime I try to play the map it doesn't notice the map though.

What u need for get the map running:

1) The box Razz
2) A player spawnpoint
3) compile it with the "Build" command

exit netradiant, enter nexuiz

1) open console
2) type map "mapname"

If u have a map like First Try you have to set the First try in ""-marks

Plus u have to save the files into your data/maps folder

I tried your map Razz It works very well!

I found my problem I have no textures for some reason. It's a well known problem too some people just don't get it working. That explains why i couldn't save a map.
