5v5 - NFC v Prophets

After some head-scratching we got the DM server running private with a 5v5 TDM. Thanks for baring with me as I was setting it up, I'll upload a script to the server for any future games.

Thanks to Marc for organising it & to everyone who managed to play. It was fun, good games everyone.

I am really happy about that, cuz myself couldn't be there.

Talked to NFC and they have some things to criticize (constructive critics):

- The maps were too small(chronic, toxic)

- Server was too small(looks like they had more ppl wanting to play)

- Cheats were enabled on the server // That's a problem tho, we should really look after this

- Too little ammo(maybe their aim is crap?)

- Too many spawnkills(well, they don't count?!)

But all in all they really enjoyed the evening with us and saying we are nice....well, i agree


Did anyone of u have noticed similar "problems"?
Are there things to improve?

Chronic is a big map oO If it's 11 starting ammo, then it's normal for minsta, it's not the ToT CTF server.

Ammo was okay. With 5v5 there are so many kills and everyone drops ammo after he dies, so that shouldn't be a problem.

The Server was too small. - Since the people we kicked reappeared not all [NFC]-members could join. Later the server was not in the public list anymore though and it was okay then. But it seemed, that there were more members who wanted to join the game.
Huge maps make the game boring It would have been great to play evilspace Toxic and Chronic are not small.

Cheats were enabled. - Bad enough that they found out, eh ..? Was strange, who the hell enabled the cheats? One more thing about it: I saw people flying around on our ffa server while sv_cheats was 0. I don't know where that comes from but if possible we should cut that off.

Spawnkills don't count, so I don't know what the problem is. And it was Minstagib, spawnkills belong to minstagib.
We only played 3 matches, I would have been glad to play more matches. Not all maps are that boring and bad on our server, they didn't like any of the maps
I don't even know why they left that fast.

But it was only practice, so it's ok. It was very easy though. Art's Wi-fi was lagging again and my pl rate was high as well. So even though we were only 4 or even 3 against 5 we had easy wins.
Another thing they complained about was an immense lag. They didn't have high pings or a high pl rate but they were talking about lags most of the time. I think it was only a bad excuse for losing that high but I just wanted to let you know about this.

Enough now! I already wrote way too much, it's unnecessary

I didn't know about sv_cheats until someone fired a rocket at me, maybe someone had enabled it before we played, tho I thought vote commands didn't stay unless issued with rcon?

Anyhoo, we had fun & that's what counts. I'm glad they did too. Maybe they'll be up for another game when we have a ctf server?

They are demanding maps like facing worlds....

For me a pure camper map...but hey, if the want a rematch, they can host it and we use there config and mappool.

Also they would like to have 25 ammo.
