Why does this happen with your gun model?

I'm trying to record some footage for my movie with default minsta nexs and I have some demos in storage recorded in your servers, but it turns out not everything goes as planned:



It draws the weapon model twice from slightly different angles. I tried replacing prophets_growlernex_xonotic.pk3 with another .pk3 with same name but with default minstanex stuff inside, didn't help. I do get rid of the prophets gun, but why does this happen? How can I fix this?

well - prophets_growlernex_xonotic.pk3 is shipped by server and stored in /data/dlcache.
When you switch to another server sometimes the cache is still active and the prophets nex is also shown.
To prevent this you have to leave game and start new.
After starting the game and connect to a other server the prophets nex shouldn.t be shown again.
Another way is to delete it from /data/dlcache folder ... but it.s been downloaded again when you connect to prophets server

I have no problem in other servers, this only happens when I try to replace the prophets gun with default minsta nex gun, and this problem is both in your server or replaying demos recorded in your server. I set up new dlcache folder to see if there was something wrong in the previous one, when I replay one of the "prophets demos" it downloads prophets_growlernex_xonotic.pk3, csprogs.dat.1052373.63226 and textures_v2.pk3. I tried replacing prophets_growlernex_xonotic.pk3 with another prophets_growlernex_xonotic.pk3 with default minstanex entrails, maybe I did the packing wrong or something, can anyone help packing it for me?

Okay, I've come to afterthoughts to what my problem is. All my demos have center aligned guns (I can't change the alignment in demos) and prophets gun just doesn't look so good on center view (looks like a stick to be more specific), so for minstagib advertising purposes I decided to replace it with another more representable model that looks cool on center view. Default minstanex gets double drawn on demos recorded in your server, maybe because it's aligned differently on your server (closer to the player), maybe that's one reason it bugs. So anyway.. default minstanex is out, but I tried redroomgun and it seems to work fine. Problem is, it looks retarded on center alignment too.

Is there any other minstanex model mods around I could try playing with, to see which looks coolest on center? Would be win if anyone had the default minstanex from Nexuiz for instance.
