Do you like powerups in 1:1?

Hello everyone,

reason for this thread is that i don't like the powerups in Minsta 1on1, because i think they are overpowered.
I only mean Invisibility and Megahealth, the increase of speed sucks
They are no big problems in normal Minsta DM with 10 gamers, but in 1on1 against someone who can aim, i consider it as "unfair".
I would like to play without them.

If this poll shows the tendence to I hope that someone will think about the use of powerups for the next tourney

I really don't mind, they're part of the game for me. Both players have equal chances of picking them up, even if you spawn right in front of them, that was simply coincidence. I don't see anything unfair about it, there are equal odds. It is frustrating when the other player seems to have an in-built pup timer tho.

I hate it in tournament!! and I'm very disappointed that there was no poll @ this matter. Why? it's no matter u are faster and u take it..it's about u have luck and u spawn 3 times in place where pups are nearby;) that's my opinion.

I don't get it, minstagib has powerups...

Which is totally ok for me in normal DM.

But in 1on1 they are too migthy. Not even in Normal 1on1 DM(with shotgun, rocketlauncher and those weird things), where ppl don't die in one hit, the powerups are so powerfull.

I really think it's unbalanced, no matter if u have the same chances to get them

yes minstagib has powerups..it's great fun when u use it...and u can play there for fun,but tournament is serious game. So why we use one model in tournament?

The model is all about equal visibility. Different models & colours can blend into certain maps, different client versions also show different colours. FBskins are absolutely needed in a tournament for fair play & equal chances.

Powerups don't affect fair play. Removing them would result in a more serious game that leaves less to chance. That is where it'd fail to be a game & become more of a sport tho...

oh and yes I want hear here other side too coz I heard that most ppl wanted pups in tournament .Where are you ppl?

Powerups are too powerful in 1v1, even in normal duels they are disabled because of the huge advantage they give. While they do add item control to 1v1 minsta in the end they give a huge advantage to the guy using them so no they are not suited for 1v1 minsta either.

yeah I've also heard most of ppl wanted them. who r these ppl

right growl and all,no powerups! no invisible! its unfair and not clear for game -1on1

But the tournament invisible is much better then the default one :-)

and at my little tournament against Xone i dont use them... but i although lost
