Today Kay made public his own server.
I saw in a public list pretty name to server "Pro minsta, no laser, no hook! 2.5.1" so I couldn't miss it


It's uses minstanex mode, so there you can find health and armor but anyway, even if you will collect a lot of health and armor second shot will kill you for sure

But now I know how real minsta should looks like. without hook or laser.
And if Kay will make it with normal minsta gun it will be best server ever!

to make the server public i just used sv_public 1, but how to make it real public so i dont have to be in that server myself

Kay, you need to run the dedicated server rather than the client. Use the CL to start your server with your cfg, ie append +exec minsta.cfg..

What kinda connection you got? The more minsta servers the better.

Kay, you'll find some useful info & scripts in the server folder.

Painless, fov is standart - 90. At 1st I get used to it...and I've tried higher, makes my moves and aim worser... anyway I usually know where you are, so high fov not imortant for me.

so you need to copy server.cfg to the data

how to run the script in mac

Yep, you'll need the server_mac.sh script & a custom cfg in your data dir. Your custom cfg just contains the server specifics, a good minsta example is here. Then open the script in a text editor & change "server.cfg" to whatever you've called your cfg. To run it you need to open a terminal, navigate to your data dir & enter: ./server_mac.sh - your server should be running now. If you don't want to keep this terminal open, have a look at GNU Screen.

the server is running but how do i set the only weapon is a nex, (nex arena)

add g_weaponarena nex to your server cfg.
