Is it me or does 2.5.2 play totally CRAP?

I've started playing 2.5.2 (client) instead of 2.5 on our 2.4.2 servers, and I can't hit shit!
I miss shots I SWEAR would've been a hit in 2.5/2.4.2 or actually SHOULD be a hit from a logical point of view because I'm 99% sure the crosshair was on the right spot. It just doesn't feel right... I've even missed the bot from up close, you know; like model filling 50% of the screen and STILL missing! It's like the hitboxes are fucked, or I'm having major lag (which I'm not) or like the antilag is in reverse or something...

Wth is wrong? Anyone else with this experience?

I fired up 2.5.2 and I felt like a n00b dunno wtf is wrong but I switched to 2.5.1 after few minutes. had same problem like U do m8.

ur not the only players who can't play with 2.5.2
my only problem is some moving or shaking thing while i move the mouse

but i like the health and ammo bar on the bottom

I feel it directly in the other way.

2.4 was fine
2.5 and 2.5.1 were crap, I have problems with hittin any target
2.5.2 seems to be fine again <<<<I can enjoy minsta again on this version

Well, just had my NML match on a 2.5.2 server and it totally sucked! I gave up halfway through the second map, it was just unplayable for me and I was not having any fun. I could swear 50% of the shots I missed had the crosshair on the right spot, and still I missed. How is this possible? How can it be so many people play 2.5.2 and they actually enjoy that lack of accuracy?

Maybe it's just me, I dunno... but you guys know me and how I play. I don't like to brag about myself, but I'm not a bad player at all. I mean... the guy is good, really, but he wasn't THAT good, It should've been a close call at minimum!

Anyways, the point is I play this game for fun, and if I don't have fun I should not play it.
This is why I'm seriously considering stepping out of the league.

I've not had the opportunity to download 2.5.2 yet but there does seem to be a trend.

What's it like using a 2.4.2 client on a 2.5.2 server? (my connection's too slow to draw a fair conclusion).

I'm using 2.5.1 client now. Using a 2.4.2 client gives you that irritating message wandering in the middle of your screen telling you that there is a newer version of nexuiz Even when playing on a 2.4.2 server.

DOES some1 have an idea if the new apple magic mouse is gonna work fine with nexuiz???

it's the best mouse i've seen and i'm gonna buy it but i'd like to hear some opinions first

hmm - next problem for me is:
Playing with 2.5.1 client -> 600-800fps
Playing with 2.5.2 client -> 100-200fps

Anybody a idea bout this

NEXUIZ v.2.5: 455-700 FPS - LOW SETTINGS / 250-300 FPS - NORMAL SETTINGS
NEXUIZ v.2.5.2: 90-300FPS - LOW SETTINGS / 50-150 FPS - NORMAL SETTINGS

wow how can u have 600-800 fps awesome i never had it that high
i'm using 2.5.0 and i have between 100-300 ?? how important are the fps during the game??

edit: i have 1680x1050 like u anjel but i have 32 bit

In theory anything (steady) above 30fps seems to be well enough for the human eye (Your eyes will process anything above 30 fps as a fluent image). But it looks and feels smoother if you can get higher. Personally I prefer anything above 50 in modern games.

general problem for today's games is optimization graphics engine , this is still a problem with the new version of Nexuiz 2.5.2 too, according to the information should be in the game engine Nexuiz and solve in version 2.6 which is still in sight...for a smooth playing Nexuiz consider 100 frames per second as a minimum...

Does anyone else feel sometimes like it's way too easy to hit? Sometimes it feels like you're having an aimbot literally. Sometimes the nex beam goes awry and hits the enemy directly even when it's off the crosshair's appointed location.

See the fifth frag, that's what I'm talking about. Looks like I'm hacking here while I'm honestly not. Is this antilag operating awkwardly or something? Did I actually hit him, only the shot came in delay and was visually fired from different angle than the original position? Or is it just too damn easy to hit with Nex?
