Wasn't the best tbh.. I've got a broken ankle atm & staying in the middle of nowhere...

My cast will be off & I'll be back in the city in 3 weeks time tho. It'll be freshers too, so I'm damn well gonna make up for the missed drinking time!

Happy fraggin' & hopefully see more of ya soon - I'll be taking 3D for one of my modules, so I'm sure I could use some Nex inspiration. Wink

No real plans regards 3d - I'd like to make a character but I'll just wait & see where the assignments lead. They won't be using Blender tho (3ds max I think, possibly maya) Sad

& I've not really used Blender since our Growler Nex - busy studying or relaxing. Wink

I'll be installing 3dsmax over the weekend to test-drive it for the next couple of weeks. Do you have an experience with this &/or know of any good tutorials (like the blender noob to pro wiki)?

I never worked really with 3ds (I actually sit 5mins in front of it and ran away screaming afterwards).
But as far as I know there's an "official" documentation here. (Or find your way here if you have an older version thn 2011)
Unlike at blenderland many tutorials are payware though. Sad
