is this an image??

Sorry mate, you've just lost me...

Are you talking about the dark red backgrounds between the black ones?

It's not an image (that I'm aware of), there's whole page of hex codes in the Admin Panel, I assume it's set by one of those.

Maybe it would be best to have a final banner first?
Then we can make better decision about the layout of the site...so that everything fits together good.
e.g. using similar colors for banner, forum, buttons etc.
maybe decide a main color we should use for those stuff?

hm Growl i I like the ideas of the main colors too

for this my offer would be a misc of a light grey(almost white) and a dark blue i like those colors they really fit together

i wanna put some smoke maybe some blue one and change the prophets font but not like the usual i use something different

Clear fonts and good overview. Dunno how it looks when it's installed, but atm i would still think our forum style has more personality.

No rotating banners, but it's possible to have an animated GIF with a long interval.

Hehe, that's not a banner or slogan I made, just an example that came with that theme.

I'll keep looking for more & I'll have a play some time soon. I'll be sure to backup what we have now tho.

Do you mean the borders on that dark glossy theme? I'd imagine only the colour of the border could be changed. That theme doesn't look bad, it'd need a tileable dark background tho.

Most of the colours, fonts & graphics can be modified. The version & theme dictate the layout tho.

i have some nice textures for dark background
but in the new skins i saw there is not a square table they made it with png files so they can have those nice things so i was thinking when we have a new skin i can try to edit the table borders dunno if u can edit the borders or if u can put something over?????
ahhh u just put a new skin i take care of the rest

It was too narrow tho & I couldn't make it wider with the forum tools, the style sheet needed editing.

If anyone's good with web design & can offer a hand it'd be appreciated. Or maybe it'll give me something to look busy with at work...
