NCFM-nexuiz clans friendly match

Hi all....
I think some regular matches in our tournament servers NCFM-nexuiz clans friendly match. matches would
be every six months and should lead to the strengthening of friendly
relations clans and play for FUN!...

-clans:
*PK,PROPHETS,TOT,PB,VILLAINS

-system 1vs1 in 3round [spectate allow],win is the sum of frags,more wins...next system kick off in one round:
*on PK server [black N] CFM
*on ToT server [red N] CFM
*on PROPHETS server [white N] CFM
*on PB server [gray N] CFM

What u mean?

when they will play on your server N logo is whited, when our server logo will be black, when the tot server logo will be red and PB logo is grayed ... every sixth month of game playing on another server

in every match is one referee of which must be in the guild and can not play....match start in apr.2009....first on PK server

this is only next match for fun...start in maybe apr.2009 ... it is only a preliminary draft , priority n1 is now your life , then NML and last NCFM

Do we really need a referee then?
Don't take it too serious, i expected something like a one on one and everyone who wants to can spectate.
Referees are overrated in a game between friends

That's way cooler and more relaxed atmosphere.

So only this 3 minsta clans can take part? That's good in my opinion, no intereference from outsiders tho

an 1on1 nee maybe a clan war with more players 3on3 or 2on2 or if we reach 4

but i think the tournament will be enough 1on1 i like more a team work not a solo man work

It'll take some planning but sure.

First of all you need one solid point of communication.

An all clans in a tournament website with a forum so everything can be discussed together all as one happy community? HAR.. Sarcastic HAR but yeah. I'm sure it'll work. It could also be used for the 1v1's.... I've noticed people are having some issues like not being able to find your partner Yeah communication is a pain But it's okay. I didn't even consider that people didn't know each other in nexuiz o.o

Secondly the system needs to be a neutralized system such as

One server, Three games. Same kind of thing as the 1v1's

Referees for friendly matches are not needed. But I do propose a tournament structure. It may get more people to start clans could be a promising prospect. If not then it'd have to be a play each other twice and scoring system for each win, loss, draw etc.

I'm thinking of the whole complex before Thalan starts the league then we'll have more teams for it hopefully.

If the scoring system is a better idea then it's a league which Thalan already has sorted so it'd be pointless doing that

Thirdly... The main thing to remember is pressure is not needed on video games I used to enter loads of competitions with pressure. doing things for the money. It ended up the only time I ever won any sort of prizes were at Quakecon years ago and a Resident Evil 4 timed contest. So do it for nothing. Do it for the love of the game...

and finally clan management is the fourth issue.

The players involved have to not create issues with each other because of teams facing each other. This happened in Quake 3 a lot and I believe it still happens in Quake 3, Whats left of it. It's sad to see people start hating each other due to different clan tags. I'm unaware of people we have that do that if any do.



There has to be something for us clans to do right? Other than sit on our tags and building friendships. essentially what we've become is guilds. HOLY CRAP Nexuiz is War of Worldsomethingcraft!!!

I'm okay at 1v1, I can match some of the best however I can just as easily struggle against someone who has just picked up the game. I rearrange gameplans everytime I have a different opponent. I use my mind to work out how I can match someone. Of course sometimes you get this wrong and totally screw it up.

I just prefer team things. Nothing quite beats accomplishing something with your friends.

Oh and there are more clans playing team games than just 3 I've seen a total of 7 and if more team games are introduced there will be more following that seven simply because they want to be a part of it.

I'll work more on it and post a plan and see if you guys like it or not. Wish me luck because this is really going to be a bitch to work out how to fit a current 7 aware of teams into a tournament. Even then I don't know if these 7 have enough players.

there are only two (Villains) @ Nexuiz so it would be rather hard to play 3on3.

I'm all for some regular team based games, clan v clan. There's no need for it to be serious tho, no tournament structure or anything. Why not start with something informal & see where it goes? Keep it fun.

and as i said and natas agreed we hate 1on1 better 2on2 like 2 prophets vs villains and 2 prophets vs tot or vs PK or vs PB

Nah I've already worked it out.

Plus organizing is always needed Otherwise nothing happens.

I've followed the KISS thing while working about 6 years ago and it got me fired for being lazy.

Tournament: 8 teams
Players: 4v4
Referees: 1 from each team

I come from a school teaching background almost everything I write is long and explanatory due to that. It comes from years of explaining what things are and what to do. I do this for people like anj who don't have perfect english and would benefit better from explanations.

Now all I need to do is work out who is interested.
