What's up with Xonotic?

Hey folks!
I've just played 20 mins at our xonotic DM server. And you know, I haven't met any alive player at all! Playing with bot at ugly and unsuitable for instagib maps makes me sad
So tell me pls when do you usually play? I still want to have some frags with my best mates <3 Don't let me feel alone!

I play mainly at the evening 8:00 - 10:00 pm (UTC +1).

... usually you will find me on XDF (Defrag) server - DH always pick me up there and push me to Duel Sanctuary.

Probably the thread should be moved to public forums - private forums are maybe a bit to ... private

Is Xonotic more dead than Nexuiz ??
Not really - Nexuiz = Half Past Dead - Xonotic = Half Past Dead - Same Community but divided into two -  Both Games more than Half Past Dead  

Anyway - if you looking for busy servers here we are -> Xonotic TorServers
Unfortunally Prophets not close to the Top 10 - only XDF Server running pretty busy.

At the moment it is nearly impossibly to find someone on server because the most player are inactive.
Last time i was waiting half an hour on the server and nothing happen.
Maybe we should make a target date like Sunday 18:00 GMT or something ?

I bet it's not a secret for you about situation in Ukraine last year. I'm really far from policy(I guess you're also) but still my country in kind of crisis now, and Ukraine situation is one of the main reasons, so it makes me very disappointed. I just want to ask you how you social media shows this situation for EU citizens?
I kinda understand that russians aren't in favor for Europeans now but still wanna know your opinion about this stupid war.

Really dont know what the "normal" russian think about - as far I can see and understand the russian press like RIA Novosti or Russian Today Russia writes Russia is a victim of upcomming fascism .... (I don.t belive so)

Surprisingly till the war startet (I think war is the better word than crisis) I always had the opinion we all are  Europeans ...

Don.t know what went wrong the last 9-10 month ...

What normal russians think? They just pray for ending of this shit. We all know, that any war can't bring anything except vicitims, and we all know that world war would be the stupidest idea that people can imagine.
We also understand that Europe might not argue with Russia, USA, Asia or any other democracy countries. We all had strong relationships in many directions and we need each other as partners and friends not as enemies.
You might ask why my goverment is agressive in Ukraine? I'll say that I'm against of it. But I still understand why the do it. You know, ukranians and russians are kinda same nation(we actually were till USSR expired). More than a half of ukranians speaks only russian and love Russia. And new ukranian line of policy is trying to convince those ukranians that Russia is their enemy and all problems are because of us. As for me it's riddiclous to not to let people, who speak russian since birthday, speak it and teach their kids. That's what Putin tries. Ukraine is divided now, and our gorment tries to protect the part of people who applies to Russian. And I understand it and I'm agree with that. But not with war.

And on the other hand our goverment don't want to see NATO rockets near our border. I guess you also understand why.

But anyway war is the worst way to protect your interests, even if you are a bit right. This coflict destroys Ukraine, it destorys our economy, it destroys our relationships. Everyday so much people die there. The price of dozen peoples lifes don't worth any politician games there. So "normal russians" just hope and pray that this will end as soon as possible.

But still USA already did what the wanted. The argued russians and ukranians so hard. Just 2 years ago we were like brothers and sisters but those times gone. It's rly sad

Yes, war should not be a opinion. We know it all, nearly all.
Heard that the EU started economic sanctions, it don't sound bad in the first moment. Read something about weapons, munitions and oil ( maybe they don't want support this war), after it i read that Russia stopped as reaction import and export of food. So the question is how the life changed for the small/poor peoples in your country ?

Life changed in bad way. Life just much more expensive now. All imported goods become 2x more expensive but salaries are still the same. You know, we don't have enough russian manufacturers with good quality in almost every type of products. To be honest we only have good military products and all others are just more expensive and have lower quality than products from China for example. So it means that all our shops are full of imported goods and prices are growing extremely fast. So a lot of people are forced to buy our russian products with lower quality only because of prices.
For example: I have German car Audi(it's not a secret that german cars are much more better than russians) and Now I can sell my used car with almost higher price, than it worth 2 years ago. Because 2 years ago your 1euro=45rubles and it's 1euro=70rubles. I guess now you understood how our prices have grown.

I should say that stopping import of food is kinda lie by you social media. We really stopped import of food for EU countries as a reply at your sanctions but we just started to import food from countries who our "friends"(China, Brazil, Argentina, Arabian countries for example). But anyway their food is still become much more expensive because it's still import.

Oh, what an awful times. I just want to see peaceful wealthy Russia who is a friend of Europe, Asia and America...
