| I've fixed some bugs in my map & made some small changes. Most noticeable change is the addition of Brue's music. I updated my previous link, get it here if you can't be bothered to go back: http://omploader.org/vMTl3aA/lost1.pk3 I'll host a private server tonight with Marc's map & mine, in addition to the regular tourney maps. My IP address today is: 86.167.101.114 - it'll be up within the hour, so grab our maps (curl is set to nexuiz ninjaz) & have a play. | |

| Little update in my mapping progress. I am still fooling around, to make a real good map next time(at leastI hope so ) Did a twisted flame pillar today, with this technique u can do organic surfaces...maybe a lvl build out of flesh Or doing a Vagina map....what u say? There's already one? | |

| Why aren't u good in it? The arch looks nice, only advice i could give is save it as a prefab I like the idea o the lava-glow at the bottom, really ngood lookin Tried it with the creation of rocks/water and living landscape today. Too frame-expensive, but u must agree: It looks nice | |

| HELL YEAH, it looks GREAT!!! 16fps tho? I know you have a big screen now, you have a killer gfx card tho too. You sure you didn't leave NetRadiant open in the background? I found the problem with my arches, there's an option, 'cap cycle texture' - shift+ctrl+n, not ctrl+n as the tut says. The tut also said nothing about having to invert the curve, ctrl+i. Small things like this have consumed LOADS of time. Guess I'm not gonna forget it any time soon tho. | |

| Are u working on a concrete map? I am just following the tutorials and build this and that. I have big plans for my next map, tho i don't want to mess it up with my low skill level and try to improve till i start it. Done with your drawings? | |

| Yup, concrete & lava, keepin' it simple. Basic theme is set in my last screenshot, gonna be a big arena with 2 levels & a few small rooms & dark corridors. Hopefully, anyhoo. | |

| Here is a little picture of the map i am actually working at. The textures arent final, i just paint it colorfull atm. This will be the mainroom, I think it's not bad and new to nexuiz The rings at the energy-pillar are moving up and down, and electric shaders are running over it, it looks nice. Only the pool is still a bit hectic when u look at it | |

| Damn Marc, the layout looks quite similar to the main room in what I'm working on, tho I only have drawings & a failed test. Mine has a central column surrounded by a circular lava pit, archways at either end & balconys surrounding the whole arena. No energy pillar or curved stairs tho, lookin' nice m8. | |

| We're safe tho, yours is futuristic & mine's kinda dark ages, should look quite different. Nah, didn't work on my last attempt, got my lava channels aligned nicely with a circular pit, filling it with lava tho.... Thought I did it, so compiled, jumped in the lava, fell through the floor & kept on falling. =) Weird how square pits are so easy & circular ones are a b1tch. One more try before I chicken out & go square tho. Might help if I actually read some of these tut's, I look at the name, ie 'create an arch' reed the 1st paragraph, look @ the pic's & then go solo & wonder why it doesn't work. | |

Same goes for me, so i change it every few days. Doing a map, follow tutorials and so on...that's the best way for me and i see my progress in abilities | |

| That's looking really cool Marc, got no idea on a name but I can't wait to play on it. Rav, yea NetRadiant from AUR works nice. Now you have it you'll be back on that map in no time. Nice to see you're still with Arch too, people do seem to stay once they find it, nice community too. | |

| It's lookin' good m8. Using a higher build option would enable better gfx. Would be fun with a few players methinks. | |
