| I uploaded Q3CTF1ish again, just some minor changes.if something is wrong delete it from Nexuiz and dl again edit: changed name and uploaded it again. I'm still quite busy with studying stuff (session until the 31st of january). tried to mess with chronosphere, but still I have problem with it - when all brushes are visible and it looks good - there is no music. And when music is avilable, there are missing brushes. I'll figure something after the session. cheers | |

| Your shader doesn't look bad at all. Maybe just 10 years old rather than by a 10yr old.
What style are you after? Gimme some examples & I may be able to help. | |

| just took a quick look at deathstar.map file (without custom textures), and it looks very good. Need to dl custom textures to see how it should look big map btw. I hope I can help U m8 with that project as I said before - Im a bit short with time, but I'll try to do this and that in the meantime and I almost finished Marc's Chronosphere, maybe for now without destructible brushes. I'd like to figure how to make explosion visible, then I'm gonna make version with exploding floor. Made a small experiment with simple shader, thought it would be a good addition to this map. At last there were no problems with radiant when I tried to build that map ^^] , but I noticed few small things that needed to be fixed. will post it when done cheers | |

| J m999, wasn't the exploding floor only restricted by the 2.4 server? Should work as it was now (theoretically, not actually tried.. ). Hopefully I'll be delving back into 3D over summer. & hopefully grab a look @ deathstar before then, next week maybe - I see you've uploaded it already. |

| I need to figure how to make it visually attractive (exploding brush) then I will apply it to that map and I got helluva pissed after few radiant crashes (again) when I wanted to build chronosphere. So I made it all over again. Except the rings everything is done again, I hope that will help. I'll try to build it tonight when I get home, if it's going to be a success - I'll post it & upload it on server. cheers | |

| Don't say it's crap M, U did a great job m8 I admire that idea, and those rotating rings are just awesome! and Im sure it's going to work ok at last, as U know radiant is crashing very often and I got helluva pissed so many times when it does, so no worries Just thought I'll try to make it all over again and I hope it will do the trick. it looks exactly the same, just added some really minor changes to it but generally it's the same map. I got nervous because when I saw it for the first time I wanted to play on it very much but I couldn't anyway Im building it right now so hopefully it's going to be available on server tonight can't wait to see the result of our collaboration ! ^^] btw U made Impulse which works great and I really admire the level of details there, so far I didn't make so detailed map. so don't feel bad in any way, Ur work is appreciated very much m8 cheers edit: well I think it's not the map itself, must be da damn radiant shit. crashed again and when it has built the map, those rings were rotating all over the map weird as in test map it was all ok. I wonder now, should we use the map that was built mostly ok? I mean everything is ok there except extremely high brightness. dunno. tell me what U think, I will keep trying but as for now best result was that map worked good but it was very very bright.or maybe someone else could try to build it? maybe only here on my PC with Winblows radiant works like shit? | |

| Sorry to hear that. Dunno why radiant crashes so often...I rarely had the problem even with chronosphere. U could send me the pk3 file and I try to build it? My Laptop isn't the most powerful machine tho it could take a while, but maybe it works The stuff with the rings sound funny, I also had the problem in my test-phase. Maybe u should check the the rotating brushes that are connected to the rings? There could be a wrong value sneaked in o_O | |

| When Radiant crashed while building process you can also check if the problem is the shader. (had the same error for a while) You just have to rename or remove the shader file. Good luck for it, i liked chronosphere | |

| well, U know what? I removed the shader ,and built it with fast vis and fast light option, and it looks very good^^] now imported rings from version where they worked good and building it again with the same option. maybe it will be ready at last!^^ | |
