I try to make a demo-file while spectating an action-point of a map...there u will see much splash-damage

Do you make some demo-files yourself painless? Of course I would like to see how u are doing ingame

I can't believe how much blood splatter you get. Is that standard in the SVN? Seems as though the SFX continue to get worse tho.

I only turn the stuff on when i am converting the to a raw *.avi
But yes, the blood is standard

Even with my "no gibs - Settings" the corpses splash a bit....its lovely

Next time u can also ask for a demo file...then u don't have to load 90+ mb

Its maybe bigger but comes along with some nice features

I'd used SVN when they were gearing up toward the 2.4 release, not any more tho...

Natas has been playing good. It'd be nice to see something from him included too (don't forget yourself, Painless).

U should use demo-function of nexuiz, then run it with the command cl_capturevideo 1.

Now u have a raw video of about 10gb

U can easily compress it with software like virtual dub

For the 'demo-function' issue "cl_autodemo 1" & every game will be stored in data/demos/

I'm sure Painless is OK with just the demos now, so no need to encode unless you want to make your own vids.

lolers started with oldest demos, I just figured I have 1,45 Gb of demos :S and that is only in 2.4 version, same goes for 2.3 and 2.4.2
so above is link for few old demos, now have go to work, will dig for more later, hope these demos can be of use
oh and give sign if the link is working properly.

Im thinking about taking my pendrive with nex to work but I could play only single campaign, Nex doesn't even see servers here.and I don't have admin rights to mess a bit with it

Same here, campaign only. At least I can get paid for watching demos.

We used to play much more in the past.
well if I count 2.3, 2.4 & 2.4.2 demos togehter -> about 5GB of demos, hmm quite a lot I guess I pick up to upload only those where I won fast, if I would sit and watch'em to look for nice shots it would take helluva much time... well, don't forget about Lady, she also has demos maybe a bit less gigz than me but still many (I have my rig since year, before we were using her rig to play) .
