I thought you'd got the demos sorted? If the client is crashing I'd certainly try out a different version...

Natas, you rock on that TDM server. Too right you've some nice shots there. A damn good tip in there too.

If anyone's interested, I've made a demo encoding script & put it the scripture section. It's made for Linux but I assume it'd work on Mac with minor modifications. Painless, if you've still got problems with 'playdemo' have a look at it for an alternative method.

it always depends on luck too, sometimes U can run over the map for half of minute and everyone is always somewhere else
I gotta mess a bit with cfg, Nex lags lately, maybe I should reduce video effects and set maxfps to around 100.
and maybe I should turn off the fog at last, that silvercity map is giving me the creeps, I can hardly see other players.

I'll ask Lady for some demos too. and this weekend I will look for demos where U guys rock I guess I can't switch to look as someone else when I watch demo? in serious sam I could switch my view to another player during the demo. but this is not serious sam

Have you tried opening a terminal & issuing:

^ the demos need to be in ~/.nexuiz/data/demos/

If you still can't open them I can encode a few videos for you. I can't do them all, but 5 or 6 should be ok (like one for each of us)...

Signatures? Well you're inputting it correctly, maybe try reducing its size or saving in a different format. I searched for the restrictions & can't find anything other than the character count...

I hosted the image on photobucket, but U can host it here for example in private message using the button with picture&diskette, then copy the link into Ur signature. worked for me
